Wal-Mart plans to open in Russia

 

 

Wal-Mart, as part of its initiatives for international expansion, has planned to open in Russia and surrounding countries.

Wal-Mart vice-chairman Mike Duke said: "We are aggressive in addressing certain opportunities that needed to be addressed and will ramp up our overseas ops."

Wal-Mart operates in 13 countries outside the US, which contributes around 26 per cent of net sales annually.
